This tour takes takes you to the Hawkesbury River, the wreck of HMAS Parramatta, towering cliffs, unspoilt bushland, history, serenity... you get the idea. Explore this area with us, and go back in time to experience what it was like when the first settlers arrived and, spend the night under the crystal clear sky staring at the stars.
We start and finish this tour at Deerubin Reserve near Brooklyn on the Hawkesbury River. Leaving the reserve, we will paddle upstream past Milsons Island, the wreck of HMAS Parramatta, into Marramarra Creek and to our campsite for the night. Once settled in, you can explore the creek, bushland, swim or simply take it all in. The following morning we will retrace out steps back to Deerubin Reserve.
We will supply all camping equipment all meals, all cooking gear, cutlery and water, except sleeping bag and self inflation mattress/air bed. We will paddle approx 20km each day. Cost includes all meals, camping gear (except sleeping bag/air bed), kayak and gear, guide, National Park fees, transfers.
The tour explores the Hawkesbury River, passing isolated settlements and up into the upper reaches of the pristine Marramarra Creek and national Park. We camp out in this unspoilt wilderness. Truly a beautiful place. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
