BCL - Kayak Tour Full Day - Broken Bay
Overview
We start this tour in the fishing village of Patonga. From there we paddle past towering cliffs to Lion Island before turning south and across the mouth of the mighty Hawkesbury River to West Head on Pittwater, before exploring the coastline westward.
We will land on beaches only accessible by boat, swim in the Hawkesbury River, lay in the sun and relax. Upon arriving at the tour departure point and meeting your guide, you will be given a briefing on kayak use and safety. Once all is ready you will set off on the tour, stopping at various points of interest along the way. There will be plenty of time to take in the views as well as rest...the pace is very gentle.
The tour is approximately 16km in length. Cost includes BBQ lunch, kayak and gear, guide, National Park fees and transfers from Gosford.

The tour starts and finishes in the quaint fishing village of Patonga. We are able to provide transfers from Gosford train station if you require. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- This tour is suitable for all fitness and skill levels. You must be able to swim and you will be wearing a lifejacket. You need to bring comfortable clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting wet, a towel, sun protection, a rainjacket (if it looks like rain), bottle of water and a change of clothes.
- Guides are fully qualified and first aid trained. We have all safety equipment and remote area communications. A tour waiver form needs to be signed prior to participation. To qualify for children's rates, your child must be under 10 years of age. PLEASE NOTE - Minimum of 2 to run tour
- Numbers on the day: We operate this tour with a minimum of 2 people per tour and a maximum of 10 people.
- Session length: This is a full day tour, starting at 9am and finishing at 4.30pm
- PLEASE NOTE - Minimum Numbers apply. This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to proceed.

- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
