BCL - Kayak Tour - Patonga Creek - Half Day
Overview
We start at the fishing village of Patonga and slowly make our way up Patonga Creek into Brisbane Water National Park. The upper reaches of the creek are truly peaceful and relaxing. Wildlife is plentiful; see cormorants, sea eagles, herons, kingfisher, soldier crabs, fish, stingrays and much more. Upon arriving at the tour departure point and meeting your guide, you will be given a briefing on kayak use and safety. Once all is ready you will set off on the tour, stopping at various points of interest along the way. There will be plenty of time to take in the views as well as rest.....the pace is very gentle. We will find a nice place for morning/afternoon tea and a well earned rest, The tour is approximately 12km in length. Cost includes morning or afternoon tea, kayak and gear, guide, National Park fees, transfers (please ask).

The tour starts and finishes in the quaint fishing village of Patonga. The tour proceeds upstream on Patonga Creek, passing through pristine Brisbane Water National Park. Details will be sent to you upon confirmation of booking. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- Suitable for all fitness and skill levels. It is an advantage to be able to swim, though you will be wearing a lifejacket. Bring comfortable clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting wet, a towel, sun protection, a rainjacket (if it looks like rain), a bottle of water and a change of clothes.
- Guides are fully qualified and first aid trained. We have all safety equipment and remote area communications. A tour waiver form needs to be signed prior to participation. To qualify for children's rates, your child must be under 10 years of age. PLEASE NOTE - Minimum of 2 to run tour
- Numbers on the day: Maximum group size is 10. The price quoted is per person.
- Session length: This is a half day tour. The morning tour starts at 9.00am and finishes at 12.30pm. The afternoon tour commences at 1.00pm and finishes at 4.30pm.

- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
