Sky Diving Addiction Package - 20 Jumps!
Description
Learning to skydive is easy. This is the instructional program needed for your "A" licence from the Australian Parachute Federation. You are no longer a "student" - you're a "fun jumper"!
The sport is rising in popularity. No longer a male dominated activity with more and more females falling through the sky! Every weekend hundreds of people of all ages and from all walks of life visit their local drop zone and go "fun jumping".
To get started you'll need to attend this First Jump Course (stage 1) at the drop zone. This is an all day activity, covering theory and practical training and then you do your first jump. You'll jump from 14000ft with 2 instructors and freefall for up to 60 seconds. At 5000ft you open the parachute - 5 minutes later you land. You'll carry a radio while you jump to ensure you are in constant contact with your instructors.
Stage 2 only requires 2 hours of ground instruction. Once again you have a radio, jump with 2 instructors, freefall for 1 minute, open your parachute and 4 minutes later - land it.
Stages 3-9 each take an hour's ground instruction. All jumps are from 14000'. You have your own personal (qualified) instructor on each Stage jump. Jumps are videoed for revision and training (and memories!).
After the day's First Jump Course and Stage 1 is successfully completed you can continue on and either do 1 Stage a day, or you can stay at the Drop Zone and do up to 3 a day, 7 days a week.
When you complete all Stages (all with instructors) you do several more solo jumps to get your A licence. Then it's on to your "B" license, then C and D!
We have packages to suit everyone. To learn to skydive you can do either the; 1 day/1 jump package, or the 2 day/3 jump, the 4-5day/10 jump package, the 5-7 day/15 jump package or the “top of the range”, A license guaranteed, 7-10 day/20 Jump Holiday “Addiction” Package.

This activity takes place at the Drop Zone in Toogoolawah, QLD (1 hour NW of Brisbane).
Participant Guidelines
Participants must be 16 years or older. Maximum weight is 100kg. Reasonable fitness is necessary. No alcohol to be consumed prior to your jump. All parachute equipment is supplied. Packages include free accommodation.
Our Instructors are qualified through the Australian Parachute Federation.
Our equipment is subject to a specific regular maintenance program.
Each parachute is fitted with an Auto Activation Device.
Our Aircraft are subject to CASA maintenance program.
Our operation is audited annually.

Session Length
Learning to skydive starts with the First Jump Course at the drop Zone at 9.00am. Spend time in the classroom and in the training harnesses,practice landings and other procedures. You jump at about 3.00pm. After de-briefing and log book entry you receive your 1st Skydive. Certificate at 4.00pm.
Numbers on Day
Each person has their own personal Skydiving Instructor and their own personal video/dvd.

The GoDo Cancellation Cover is insurance cover for the purchaser when losses are incurred if the activity is canceled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier.
