Overview
Within minutes our vessel, Spirit of Gold Coast, will have you up close and personal with these majestic creatures as they perform some of the most amazing acrobatic displays that only Mother Nature can choreograph.
As one of the pioneers of Whale Watching on the East Coast of Australia, our Gold Coast location allows Spirit of Gold Coast to enjoy the longest Whale Watching Season in Australia from late May to early November each year.
Come see these amazing mammals migrate north to warmer waters to
give birth or mate and return south with their newborn calves.
Our vessel, a 24 meter Power Catamaran, has excellent 360º viewing from upper and lower decks, air-conditioned saloon, fully licensed bar and souvenir shop. This boat was designed for your comfort.
A detailed commentary is provided and the crew will be happy to enlighten you on these magnificent mammals and the environment they call home.
Tours departing at 9:00am from Marina Mirage for a 2 1/2 - 3 hour cruise. Free undercover parking available at Marina Mirage on Sea World Drive.

Spirit of Gold Coast operates our Whale Watching tours daily between late May and early November each year. This trip departs from Marina Mirage, Main Beach on the Gold Coast.

Numbers
There are no minimum numbers. On each trip there is a maximum of 150 people.
Session Time
Spirit of Gold Coast departs Whale Watching cruise is approximately 2.5 - 3 hours in total.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee or you may enjoy a drink from the fully licensed bar which will be open throughout the cruise. We recommend comfortable casual clothing and flat, non-marking shoes.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
