BCL - Full Day Scenic Kayaking Tour
Overview
This is a great way to escape Hobart for the day, get some exercise and explore the scenic coves of the nearby D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
We provide transport from Hobart to our waterfront kayaking centre in Kettering.
After some basic instruction the group will make the shrot crossing to Bruny Island by kayak! Once safely on the other side of the channel, we will head south along the island visiting one of Tasmania's many Alantic Salmon farms before landing on a smaller island for a lazy BBQ lunch.
When the afternoon sea breeze beckons, we commence our return surfing the small waves back to Kettering.
Location
- Kettering (Hobart - Tasmania)
We depart from Kettering, approximately 30 minutes drive south of Hobart but will pick up from Hobart. Please arrange after booking. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- No previous kayaking experience is necessary. Particpants should dress for the weather of the day.
- Price includes return transport from Hobart, BBQ lunch, refreshments & snacks. Please inform us of any dietary preferences when booking.
- Numbers on the day: Tours run with a minumum of 2 people, with a maximum of 10 people.
- Session length: Tours start at 9:00am and return at 4:30pm. We operate weekdays from October to May.
- Minimum age for this tour is 12

- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
