Overview
Join us to explore the Canberra's iconic Lake Burley Griffin.
After some brief safety instructions, jump aboard our stable single and double estuary kayaks and together with our experienced guides let's explore this beautiful man made lake.
There is plenty to see during this gentle kayak including the Jerrabombera wetlands and the Molonglo River making it a perfect adventure for nature lovers.
You can also experience the spray from the Captain Cook memorial jet as well as the views of the many iconic Canberra buildings.
Our guides are very informative and will help you to discover the many facets of this beautiful man made lake that Canberra was built around.

This activity takes place on Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra.
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
You will generally be joined by up to 10 other paddlers plus an instructor.
Session Time
This tour runs for 2.5 - 3hrs hours. Departs 1pm April - September and 2pm October - March
Guidelines & Restrictions
This tour is not suitable for non swimmers or young children under the age of 12. We supply all paddling equipment, life jackets, polar fleece sweaters and spray jackets in cooler conditions. You will need to bring swimmer, a pair of shoes to wear in the kayak, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Our guides will be taking photos throughout the trip. We cannot guarantee to keep your camera waterproof, we suggest if you want to take your own photos that you bring a small disposable waterproof camera.
Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
