An all-inclusive day and exceptional value! Discover this idyllic Great Barrier Reef island with Quicksilver's luxury sailing catamaran Wavedancer.
Set like a jewel in a Great Barrier Reef lagoon, Low Isles is an uninhabited, unspoilt coral island that appeals to everyone. And why not, when this is everyone's idea of a secluded tropical paradise! The wide, sandy beach and clear, calm lagoon waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
Your day commences at 9:30am when you board our catamaran and enjoy complimentary morning tea/coffee.
Prior to departing Port Douglas, an informative Marine Biologist presentation is shown in the main cabin. We then depart at 10am bound for Low Isles. The journey to the island is approximately one hour, so sit back, relax and enjoy sailing under the tropical skies.
Upon arrival at Low Isles, a host of reef activities await. View the corals and abundant marine life from the glass bottom boat coral viewer. A shuttle vessel runs between the island and Wavedancer throughout the day. Your snorkel equipment is available from the storage containers on the foredeck of our catamaran. Once at the island, join the marine biologist for the guided snorkel tour and informative island walk, or just relax under a thatched umbrella. Low Isles is a renowned turtle habitat so look out for these friendly locals when snorkelling!
During the day, enjoy a delicious tropical buffet lunch, including seafood, onboard Wavedancer. The onboard bar operates throughout the day.
After a relaxing tropical island experience, we depart Low Isles at approximately 3pm homeward bound to Port Douglas, arriving by 4:30pm.
This cruise is accredited with Advanced Ecotouism and Climate Action Certification.

This trip departs from and returns to Port Douglas, travelling to Low Isles, an uninhabited coral island. Low Isles is situated 15km north-east of Port Douglas Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- Remember to bring your camera, swimming costume, beach towel, hat, sunscreen as well as money for any onboard purchases.
- On very rare occasions, services can be subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a cruise not operate for any reason passengers will be offered an alternative day.
- Numbers on the day: Visitor numbers to Low Isles are limited to protect the island ecology
- Session length: This is a full day experience, departing at 9.30am and returning at 4.30pm.
- Coach Transfers available at an additional cost from most Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas accommodation. From Port Douglas Adult $8, Child $4, Family $20. From Cairns and Northern Beaches Adult $20, Child $10, Family $50. Child ages 4-14 years inclusive, under 3 years Free. The Govt Environmental Management Charge (Marine Park Levy) of $5.50 pp is applicable to adults & children 4yrs & over and payable direct on the day of travel.
