BCL - Camel Ride - Half Day Scenic Ride
Overview
Experience a fantastic 3 hour camel ride across stony plateaus and past stands of grass trees that are hundreds of years old.
With our expert guides leading the way, you will ride a gradual descent into the Pichi Richi valley, flanked on one side by the magnificent Dutchman escarpment and on the other by the ridge you have just ridden down.
Along the way you'll follow an ancient creek bed dotted with River Red Gums. Marvel at the endurance of early European settlers as you pass by their cottages and a corrugated iron woolshed that is still in use today.
We then turn to climb back out of the valley through native mallee bush land. Wildlife abounds, undisturbed by the quiet padding of your camel.
Throughout this camel ride, enjoy a delicious afternoon tea.

This experience takes place in Quorn, South Australia. This is located 3.5 hours drive from Adelaide. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- We suggest you wear comfortable clothing, including long pants and closed in shoes. Remember to bring camera, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, small water bottle (up to 1L) and insect repellent. We provide all guidance and commentary as well as helmets to wear on the ride.
- No riding experience is necessary, you will be joined by one of our fantastic guides, so you don't need to worry about anything except enjoying your tour. Please let us know if you have any food allergies prior to the day.
- Numbers on the day: This trip operates with a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 10 people.
- Session length: This tour departs at 11.30am and runs for 3 hours in total.

- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
