Overview
Penfolds is known throughout the world as a maker of fine Australian wine. Now, during your visit to the Penfolds Cellar Door in the beautiful Barossa Valley you can become a part of this famous winemaking team when you join the Penfold's Make Your Own Blend Experience.
Don your labcoat to commence your blending experience in the Penfolds Red Winemaker's Laboratory.
It is here that you learn how to blend your own wine from Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre, like Penfold's own Bin 138. A fascinating and satisfying experience, blending to suit your own personal taste, and it's even more fulfilling to take the wine home, in a personalised bottle with your name on it as Assistant Winemaker!

The Make Your Own Blend Tour takes place at Penfolds Barossa Valley, Nuriootpa, Barossa Valley, South Australia
Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Numbers
Joining the experience will be from 2 - 30 other blending friends. Group sizes vary, however, appoximately 5-10 people on average will usually be within your group.
Session Time
The Make Your Own Blend tour is a 1 hour experience including wine tasting and a blending experience. Guests are invited down to Cellar Door following the 'Blending' for Wine Tasting and/or to take advantage of Make Your Own Blend discounts on purchases.
Guidelines & Restrictions
Children are not permitted in the Winemakers Lab or to take part in blending. The Lab is upstairs therefore participants must be able to walk upstairs as there are unfortunately no disabled facilities. All participants must be over the age of 18yrs.

Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
