Overview
Penfolds is known throughout the world as a maker of fine Australian wine. Now, during your visit to the Penfolds Cellar Door in the beautiful Barossa Valley you can become a part of this famous winemaking team when you join the Penfold's Make Your Own Blend Experience.
Activity Includes:
The Make Your Own Blend tour is a 1 hour experience including wine tasting and a blending experience.
Don your labcoat to commence your blending experience in the Penfolds Red Winemaker's Laboratory.
Guests are invited down to Cellar Door following the 'Blending' for Wine Tasting and/or to take advantage of Make Your Own Blend discounts on purchases.
It is here that you learn how to blend your own wine from Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre, like Penfold's own Bin 138.
A fascinating and satisfying experience, blending to suit your own personal taste, and it's even more fulfilling to take the wine home, in a personalised bottle with your name on it as Assistant Winemaker!
Additional Information:
Group sizes vary, however, appoximately 5-10 people on average will usually be within your group.
Children are not permitted in the Winemakers Lab or to take part in blending.
The Lab is upstairs therefore participants must be able to walk upstairs as there are unfortunately no disabled facilities.

- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
