Your quad bike adventure begins when your experienced tour guide picks you up from any accommodation, in Alice Springs.
You will then be taken out to Undoolya Cattle Station, just 20 minutes east of the town. Undoolya Station is the oldest working station in the Northern Territory and the buildings themselves are still lived in today. The current owners have lived at the station since 1907, the previous owners having built the property in 1872.
The Polaris 330 quad bikes are fully automatic and are extremely safe, an orientation of the bikes and introduction about the tour takes place on arrival. There is always only one person to each bike. The initial pace is slow to ensure everyone is comfortable with their quad bike and feels secure.
This tour takes you high up into the ranges, can be challenging and provides spectacular views of the valleys below.
Photo opportunities occur regularly as the adventure passes through the East MacDonnell Ranges, over dry riverbeds and around water holes. Kangaroos, dingoes, emus, goannas, and station cattle are seen regularly.
Our operators are the only tour operators on the station, and the unspoilt vastness is second to none.
After approximately 2.5 hours of riding and adventure, the tour returns to Undoolya Station and everyone loves the after tour dusty face photos.
Transfer back to town completes the half-day adventure.
