Overview

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Byron Bay's Rainforests

Ride through a range of fire trails and backcountry single tracks, exhilarating downhills and log jumps. This adventure takes place amid lush, subtropical rainforests, complemented by ancient volcanic terrain in the World Heritage listed Nightcap National Park in the hinterland of Byron Bay.

Start your ride by viewing beautiful Minyon Falls before commencing your two-wheel adventure listening to the sounds of parrots and kookaburras. If you are lucky, you may see a scurrying goanna, a bush turkey or even a koala!
The ride can change daily, but it includes a combination of fire trails and single tracks, weaving through the national park. We'll stop for a snack and photos, absorbing the beautiful scenery before a descent and a good climb.
The ride finishes at a swimming hole at the crest of Minyon Falls, where we'll enjoy
a locally sourced picnic lunch. We stop for some delectable homemade organic ice-cream, on the way back to Byron Bay.

Additional Info

The ride is suitable for an active person with average fitness. You must be able to ride a bicycle. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.. Bring suitable clothes for cycling in the forests, runners and eyewear, no sandals. Change of clothes, towel and swimmers/shorts.
All participants must sign a public liability and medical form. We operate in high environmentally significant areas and our guidelines are to be followed. A donation to Rainforest Rescue is included in the price for every rider.
Numbers on the day: We only run small groups for your enjoyment and pleasure! Minimum of 4 and a Maximum of 10 people.
Session length: Tours run Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, weather permitting and subject to availability. The pace of this full-day tour is group dependent; we ride for about 3.5 hours, covering between 12 and 25 kms, and return to Byron Bay by 3:30pm

* No refunds for persons sent off a day ride or cancellation of tour(s) for reasons involving personal conduct. * Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to departure date and time or no-show: 100% of the total amount (no refund). * Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to departure date and time: 25% of the total amount (75% refund). * Cancellation more than 48 hours prior to departure date and time: 15% of the total amount (administration fee).
