Discover Scuba Diving
Overview
A Discover Scuba Dive is the ultimate way to experience the unique experience of SCUBA diving. No experience necessary, explore the wonders beneath the waves with this one day introduction to SCUBA diving and can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver or PADI Scuba Diver certification allowing you to dive unsupervised almost anywhere in the world. Conducted over one day, it is the ideal 'test drive' for those that have always been interested in SCUBA and makes and ideal gift for birthdays, anniversaries or club or workplace achievement rewards.

Single Location- Your Discover SCUBA experience will be held at one of Victoria's fabulous pier diving sites which include Rye, Portsea, Dromana and Flinders and will depend on weather, tides and other conditions out of our control on the day.

Numbers
Although we can run programs with a student to instructor ratio of 8 to 1, Metro-Sports guarantee a maximum of 6 students to each instructor or less. In most programs with more than four students, we will also have an Assistant Instructor or Divemaster present to provide maximum safety.
Session Time
Approximately 5 hours; you will start with a briefing session with your instructor which takes about an hour; it's then time to get fitted for gear and begin your diving adventure. Your dive will last anywhere from 30-60minutes followed by a debrief and presentation of your certificate.
