Overview

Guided walk of the magnificent Lockley's Pylon, one of the most beautiful walks in the Blue Mountains. Lockley's Pylon is a distinctive peak offering superb panoramic views over Govetts Gorge. Along the way we'll discover rock formations known as The Pinnacles, an expansive heath and forests before we are rewarded at the summit with spectacular 360 degree views over the Grose Valley and Mt Hay area. Sydney pick-up available from any hotel in the CBD for just $30 extra.

OTHER BUSHWALKS / HIKES also available including Valley of the Waterfalls & the Grand Canyon, as well as overnight hikes.

Additional Info

Easy to Medium 9km hike with some hilly sections requiring average level of fitness. Children participating must be 10 years and over. The child's rate applies to those aged between 10 and 16 years.
Special rates apply for all Wednesday and Saturday departures. We require a minimum of 48 hrs notice. Bookings under 48 hrs are on a request basis please email us for availability. Activities operate in all but exceptional weather conditions, fog, showers and rain do not affect operations.
Numbers on the day: A maximum of 8 participants.
Session length: This is a half day 9km hike between 3.5 -4 hours duration.
what to bring: Bring a backpack to carry all your personal items. To ensure you keep well hydrated, please bring at least 1.5 litres of drinking water (on extremely hot days double this amount). what to wear: Please wear comfortable clothes, hat and enclosed walking shoes. Wear clothes to maintain a comfortable body temperature, we suggest wearing layers. Do not wear jeans. High heeled shoes, thongs, sandals or skimpy shoes should not be used. Bring a lightweight wet weather jacket.

Changes and Cancellations Policy

Cancellations received within 24 hours prior to tour departure will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of full tour cost. Please also note that failure to arrive will incur a full cost of tour fee. A minimum number of participants is required to operate our day tours. Where sufficient numbers cannot be achieved, the Company reserves the right to cancel a scheduled departure or request you transfer to another date, if an alternative date is not available your money will be refunded in full.
