BCL - Private Surf Lesson for 4
Overview
Enjoy a private surf lesson for 4 people with your own qualified instructor. This is an intensive 3 hour lesson designed to teach you the easiest and safest techniques for stand up surfing. Everyone will ride long waves of at least 40 metres. All equipment is included.
Location
- Byron Bay (Byron Bay and Northern Rivers - New South Wales)
We will pick you up in Byron Bay and travel to either Lennox Head or Ballina to get the most suitable waves for the given conditions. We will then drive you back to your accommodation in Byron Bay. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- No previous surfing experience is required, but participants need to be able to swim at least 50 metres. Bring: swimmers, towel, sunscreen and drinking water. Surfing is not a recommended activity for sufferers of epilepsy and heart conditions. We take people 6 to 60+ years with moderate fitness.
- All participants will be asked to sign a waiver. Participants under the legal age will have to have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf. All instructors are qualified level 1 surf instructors and hold current senior first aid and Life Saving Club proficiency certificates.
- Numbers on the day: This is a private lesson - it's just your party of 4 and your own instructor.
- Session length: 3 hours in duration including 20 minutes travel time to and from the waves, 20 minutes demonstration on the beach and 2 hours water time.

The cancellation policy for this activity is as follows:
- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
