BCL - Private Surf Lesson for 3
Overview
Discover the ease and joy of surfing as we teach you the safest and most successful techniques for riding a wave for the first time. Your expert instructor will have your party of 3 surfing waves all the way to the beach before the end of your private 3 hour lesson. All equipment is included.
Location
- Byron Bay (Byron Bay and Northern Rivers - New South Wales)
We will pick you up in Byron Bay and travel to either Lennox Head or Ballina to get the most suitable waves for the given conditions. We will then drive you back to your accommodation in Byron Bay. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- Suitable for all ages from 6 to 60+ years. Minimum fitness requirement, although swimming ability is expected. Not suitable for people with epilepsy or heart conditions.
- All participants will be asked to sign a waiver. Participants under the legal age will have to have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf. All instructors are qualified level 1 surf instructors and hold current senior first aid and Life Saving Club proficiency certificates.
- Numbers on the day: This is a private lesson - it's just your party of 3 and your own instructor.
- Session length: 3 hours in duration including 20 minutes travel time to and from the waves, 20 minutes demonstration on the beach and 2 hours water time. The lesson will be extended another 30 minutes by agreement on the day if additional travel time is required to reach suitable waves.

The cancellation policy for this activity is as follows:
- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
