Overview
The ultimate wilderness experience through Tasmania, over 5 adventurous days!
DAY 1 - Departing from Hobart, we head for the beaches at Freycinet National Park to sink your feet into the pristine white sand and admire the world-famous beach at Wineglass Bay. Finish the day and stay overnight in the surf town of Bicheno, home to the Little Penguins who return to their rookeries each night upon dark. (B,L)
DAY 2 - Soak up the coastal scenery along one of Australia's greatest journey's from Bicheno to St Helens. Stretch your legs with a beach walk along the Bay of Fires. Visit St Columba Falls, before heading into the colourful city of Launceston. (B,L)
DAY 3 - Go west and spend the day at Cradle Mountain exploring some of the numerous walks within the world heritage listed national park. Take a stroll around Dove Lake or perhaps take a hike to Marion's Lookout. After an exhausting day we'll stay overnight at Cradle Mountain. (B,L)
DAY 4 - Head from the mountains to a waterfall walk along the old train line to Montezuma Falls on your way to the coast. Climb Henty Sand Dunes and stroll along the endless stretch of Ocean Beach with nothing but the wild "Roaring Forties" between you and South America. We stay overnight in Strahan. (B,L)
DAY 5 - Head south and inland with a walk to Nelson Falls, and take a drink from the famous Franklin River. Drop in at Lake St Clair then finish the day at Mt Field National Park and photogenic Russell Falls. Hug a tall tree goodbye then relax as we pass through the picturesque Derwent Valley, finishing in Hobart. (B,L)

Session Time
This tour runs for 5 days and 4 nights. We depart on Day 1 at 7:30am and return at around 6pm on Day 5.
Guidelines & Restrictions
The tour price includes 4 nights hostel accommodation, 5 days guided tour, breakfast & lunch daily, National Park fees, hostel/hotel transfers.
Extra Info
This trip is priced using hostel accommodation with shared facilities. All linen is provided, but you must bring your own towel or hire one for a couple of dollars at each hostel.
