Overview
Join us for 3 days of adventure and an opportunity to see the best of Tasmania!
Day 1 - Departing from Launceston, we head west and spend the day at Cradle Mountain exploring some of the numerous walks within the world heritage listed national park. Take a stroll around Dove Lake or head off to test your lungs with a hike to Marion's Lookout or on one of the many other great walks. We then stay overnight here.
Day 2 - We'll head from the mountains to take a waterfall walk along the old train line to Montezuma Falls on our way to the coast. During the day we'll climb Henty Sand Dunes and stroll along the endless stretch of Ocean Beach with nothing but the wild "Roaring Forties" between you and South America. We will then arrive in Strahan for our overnight stay.
Day 3 - Leaving Strahan, we head south and inland today with a short walk to Nelson Falls, and take a drink from the famous Franklin River, where you'll learn about the beginning of the Greens Party. Drop in at Lake St Clair to then finish the day at Mt Field National Park and the photographic Russell Falls. Hug a tall tree goodbye then relax on your way back to Hobart through the picturesque Derwent Valley.

This tour begins in Launceston and travel down Tasmania's West Coast to end in Hobart. We provide a courtesy pick-up service from most Launceston city hotels.

Session Time
This tour runs for 3 days, departing at 7:30am on Day 1 and concluding at 6pm on Day 3.
Guidelines & Restrictions
The overall tour price includes 2 nights hostel accommodation, fully guided tour over 3 days, meals (3 x lunch and 2 breakfast), tea & coffee, National Parks fees as well as hostel/hotel transfers.
