Flames of the Forest
Description
Dine amid the world's most ancient rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. Step out of your everyday life and into a magical place to experience a truly mystical evening. Enveloped by ancient trees you can revel in the sights and sounds of the rainforest at night while being entertained by Aboriginal storytelling and music.
Upon arrival in this secluded glade you will be greeted with sparkling wine and hors d'oeuvres. Once seated in flickering candlelight beside a rushing mountain creek, feast with fellow travellers on an award winning tropical banquet that includes local exotic produce and Australian wines.
The evening unfolds, as it would have many generations before with an ancient tale from the Aboriginal Dreamtime. Feel the wonder of this legendary place and explore the mysteries of time and culture as a local Aborigine treats you to an intimate storytelling experience in the very same place his ancestors told stories to each other many of thousands of years before. This evening of theatre, tropical dining and authentic culture comes to a close with the chance to stroll by the river illuminated by hundreds of flame pots or simply sit back and relax in this timeless setting.
