Overview
Enjoy the freedom of free range horse riding or take a relaxing guided ride with one of the friendly guides to assist you.
Less than one hour from Sydney or Newcastle and 20 minutes from Gosford, you can ride through unspoilt Australian bush and canter across lush green valleys. Discover the shady canopy of the rainforest trail, meander along the banks of Popran Creek, the purest tributary to the Hawkesbury River, arriving at the natural rock pools where you can take a well earned break from the saddle and enjoy a refreshing swim. While you relax keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife, including wallabies, lyrebirds, cockatoos, king parrots and bellbirds. Altogether there are 50kms of unspoilt wilderness trails to explore.
Our experienced staff will match one of our 200 quality horses to your level of experience, whether you're a nervous beginner or an expert. All riders are given full instruction before leaving the yards. Children aged 7 and over will love being on their own horse on the guided trail rides.
Beautiful BBQ and picnic areas and camping packages are also available, as well as lessons and overnight rides. Discovering the magic of Glenworth Valley is relaxing, fun, adventurous, exhilarating - you choose.

Guided rides are in groups of up to 10 people accompanied by an experienced guide. There are no minimum numbers required

Guidelines & Restrictions
The best clothing to wear is long sleeved shirts, long pants and enclosed shoes with a heel. Sunscreen is also recommended. As a guide we have a maximum weight limit of 120kgs for riders, however this is subject to variation on a daily basis. Our minimum trail ride age is 7 years old.
Riders will be required to sign an application to ride form prior to ride. Riders under 18 will need to be signed by parent or guardian. Rides are conducted in all weather conditions. Glenworth Valley is approximately a 1 hour drive north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge (towards the Central Coast).
Once booking has been made, please print out confirmation email and bring with you on the day.
