Your host and cooking teacher has spent many years studying ancient Greek cuisine. She has journeyed to Greece exploring ingredients, recipes, people, and culture, travelling through the Kalamata, Peloponnesus and Attica region (Athens), the islands of Crete, Rhodes, Psara, Chios, Aegina, Symi, Tinos, Mykonos, and Santorini.
After working in the kitchen at the Neil Perry restaurant XO, your teacher quickly realised that she wanted to share her knowledge and stories of cooking Greek food with others.
Her philosophy is, '...simplicity, fresh organic ingredients whenever possible, love, and intuition. Above all, don't be afraid to have a go and make it a fun and sensual experience. Include friends and family. No rules. No boundaries. I encourage you to explore and experiment and make these dishes your own.'
The classes have a variety of different menus for you to choose from.
