BCL - Gliding Deluxe Flight at 4000Ft - Benalla
Overview
You'll start your adventure with your friendly instructor. After some safety instructions and demonstrations you'll take the front seat of your sleek glider.
This is the time to ask all those questions! After a smooth take off, the glider is released at 4,000 feet to enjoy the unique thrill and tranquillity of silent flight that only gliding can provide. Get to see the Great Dividing Range (and its stunning mountains including Mt. Buffalo and Mt. Buller) to the south and east and the great plains to the north when you fly from Benalla.
Then, when it's safe to do so and if you are keen, you can fly the glider "hands-on" and take control after we demonstrate the basics to you in the air. And don't worry: your instructor is always sitting behind you and will not let you do anything unsafe. As the experience comes to a close, you will gently glide to a smooth and short landing, ready to jump off the glider with a huge smile in your face.

We are located in Benalla (approx. 2 hours north of Melbourne on the Hume Highway). Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- You must weigh 100kg or less. We have a maximum height of 6'4. Please advise if you have any severe medical conditions prior to your flight. There are no restrictions on pregnant women flying.
- Casual clothing is fine. Take care to apply sunscreen since you may be exposed to the sun, and bring sunglasses and some water to drink if it is hot. Bring your camera. You will fly a training two-seater glider with a qualified instructor in the back seat, to give you a clear view from your front seat. You will have to sign an indemnity form prior to your flight. Some limited aerobatics may be performed if requested and at extra cost in some cases.
- Numbers on the day: Only you and the qualified instructor will share the flying: it is strictly a one-on-one experience.
- Session length: Flight lengths are 30-40 minutes long.

The cancellation policy for this activity is as follows:
- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
