BCL - Motorcycle Hire & Ride Day - VIC
Overview
Your experience begins with coffee and tea, whilst you sign in and fill out the paperwork. Your Suzuki GSXR 600 bike will be ready for you in the pits, with tyre warmers, fuel and Bridgestone tyres. A riders briefing then explains the rules, flags and safety aspects of the day.
Following that, everyone is split into groups (beginners, intermediate and advanced), depending on their experience and speed, to spend 15-20 minutes per hour on the track.
This is your opportunity to ride the track you have always wanted on a new hire bike for the day!
At the end of each of your sessions, you can take a break, have refreshments and ask questions to improve your cornering and track experience. You may want to ask about changing the bike set-up so that you are ready for your next session. In total, you will have at least 7 x 15-20 minute sessions on the track.
A digital photographer is at the track all day taking photos of you so that you can have a fantastic memoir of the day to share with friends and family.
Spectators are welcome at no charge. There are canteen/BBQ facilities and spectators can watch from the pits, or from select view points around the track. All tracks allow the spectator to view the recipient the whole day, and talk to them when they come in from each session.

This activity takes place in various locations around Victoria - Winton Raceway (2.5 hours north of Melbourne) and Broadford Raceway, (80kms north of Melbourne). Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- You must have a Riders License (no L plates) which will need to be produced on the day. Additionally a security deposit (credit card swipe) will be taken for the hire of the bike, as well as an indemnity form and bike hire agreement which needs to be completed.
- You will be required to sign an indemnity form on the day. The day may be cancelled or shortened in extreme weather conditions which could make riding at speed dangerous. Please call if in any doubt. Any cancelled experiences will be rescheduled at a later date, and will incur a 25% processing fee.
- Numbers on the day: There are 100 people on the day. On the track at any one time there may be approximately 20-30 people. Tips and tuition on the track as well as how to set -up the bike are given one to one.
- Session length: Your track day is a full day from 8am-5pm. Track days are either at Winton Raceway or Broadford Raceway throughout the year. Days available vary between weekends and weekdays, subject to availability. Please book at least 6 weeks in advance.
- Riding gear including leathers and/or Draggin Jeans is mandatory. Australian approved helmet, gloves, boots are essential. Gear needs to be in good condition. Full leather only. Cost of hiring full leathers, gloves and boots is $50 and cost or hiring a helmet is an additional $50. For your own comfort some other items you may wish to bring to the track are sunscreen, hat, chair, additional water & energy snacks and a camera.

The cancellation policy for this activity is as follows:
- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
