Activity Code COAS100

Highlights

  • Exploring the coastline by stable double sea-kayak on this relaxed guided tour is one of Tasmania's most unforgettable natural experiences.
  • Paddling below its pink granite mountains and over clear blue waters, explore pristine beaches, secluded coves and peer beneath the surface to the amazing marine life below.

Overview

The Freycinet Paddle is the ultimate way to experience Freycinet.
Paddling below its pink granite mountains and over clear blue waters, explore pristine beaches, secluded coves and peer beneath the surface to the amazing marine life below. Be inspired by tales
of shipwrecked whalers, early settlers and French explorers.

Sea kayaks allow us to slowly explore the coastline, passing quietly by wildlife such as majestic sea eagles. Discover the secrets of
Freycinet as you visit Honeymoon Bay, the Fisheries and the old Quarry. Enjoy your morning or afternoon tea at one of the many beaches that line this pristine coastline, all in the relaxed
company of a small group and local guide. The beauty of the contrasting landscape combined with the area's rich history, will allow you to feel the true essence of Freycinet.

Your experience includes a safety briefing & demonstration of the paddling skills you'll quickly master. Our guides are experienced and trained, specialising in sea-kayak adventures

The tour is undertaken in stable, double sea kayaks, to cater for all levels of experience and ability.

Single bookings are welcome and you will share a kayak with a guide or a fellow paddler.

No previous experience is necessary to enjoy these
adventures. You do not need to be able to swim as we operate by the philosophy we are 'on the water' not 'in the water'.
