Chocolate Soft Centre Walking Tour

Description

This tour commences in the historic heart of Sydney with your first hot chocolate or coffee served in the glorious surroundings of one of the city's best loved landmarks. While here, you'll learn how and when chocolate first came to Australia and how we know Captain Cook was a coffee drinker!

Then it's chocolate all the way as you taste fine Australian chocolate made entirely in Australia from the cocoa bean to the finished form. You'll learn about the development of chocolate from a bitter tasting beverage to today's sweet delicacy and sample some exquisite creations. You'll also discover how many Easter eggs Australians eat a year!

French and Swiss chocolate await at your next two stops where you will learn, and taste, what makes European chocolate so special.

Then it's on to a chocolate walk, where we will take you through an 'underground chocolate tunnel' for a final sampling of spectacular Australian and Belgian chocolates.

The tour concludes in the luxurious comfort of one of Sydney's best hotels. Here you will relax with hot chocolate or coffee and reflect on your delicious experiences. This is a fitting conclusion to a luscious journey through the wonderful world of chocolate and coffee!

This activity takes place through the streets and underground walkways of the Sydney retail area. This is a walk over flat footpaths and roads, and includes steps in to and out of some of the underground areas.

Participant Guidelines

We operate this walking tour in all weathers so bring water, hat, umbrella, & comfortable shoes. We recommend this tour for adults and children aged 13 and over. At selected chocolate shops, discounts are available on purchases after sampling.

Your tour includes 2 hot chocolates/coffees, chocolate samplings and tasting notes. Or if you take the "sparkles" option enjoy 1 hot chocolate/coffee, 1 sparkling wine, chocolate samplings, chocolate petits fours, tasting notes.

Must be booked at least 2 days before activity.

Cancellations and refunds: * more than seven (7) days before the booked tour: you may book another tour (subject to availability) or request a refund. A refund is subject to an administration fee of $5.00. * fewer than seven (7) days before the booked tour: you may transfer it to another person but the new person is committed to the date and tour of the original booking. No refund is given * on day: forfeit of payment.

Numbers on Day

We operate with a minimum of 6 participants and keep groups to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure a more personalised experience.
