Overview
This guided walk through Sydney's legendary Kings Cross is a rare insight into the area that has become famous for its bohemian, red-light and party status.
Explore the remarkable crimes and passions that have dominated the landscape of the area and experience 'The Cross' of today - with all of its glamorous nightlife, swish apartments and controversial street decoration.
Your guide will meet you in the city and accompany you by bus to Kings Cross where you will explore Darlinghurst Road, Woolloomooloo hill, the El Alamein fountain and beyond.
Hear of the disappearance of a number of prominent Sydney-siders, see where Frank Sinatra was under siege in Sydney in 1974, stand on the site of the razor gang wars of 'Razorhurst', witness Kings Cross in action.... and more!
The tour price includes your return transport from the city to Kings Cross. At the completion of your tour in Kings Cross, your guide will ensure your safe journey back to the city by bus or you may continue to explore the area and its bussling nightlife and highly regarded restaurants and wine bars at your leisure.
Location
Sydney (Sydney - New South Wales)
The activity starts at Circular Quay and then you will travel to Kings Cross by bus. You will then walk for approximately 2 hours through Kings Cross, visiting the Coke Sign, Darlinghurst Road, El Alamein fountain and more. The tour concludes at the Coke Sign, Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross and you will be directed to the bus for your return trip back to the city, or are welcome to stay in Kings Cross to continue your evening there. Return bus travel is included in the tour, as is a free drink in Kings Cross.

Numbers
The tour is guided by one tour guide, with a maximum number of 16 people per group. However, most tours are of small group numbers averaging 4-6 people a tour - providing personal and easy-to-follow features.
Session Time
The tour is for 2.5 hours, including 15 minutes travelling to Kings Cross and 15 minutes for your return bus trip to the city.

There are no age, fitness or other restrictions, although some of the stories may not be suitable for very young children.
