BCL - 3 Day Package - 3 Tours + Accomm
Overview
3 Days - Best of Tassie is our 3 premier day tours - Mt. Field, Mt. Wellington & Tassie Devils, Wineglass Bay & Freycinet and Port Arthur. Each of these tours starts and finishes in Hobart each day, meaning each night you return to the same room. Enjoy action packed days and the eautiful harbour city of Hobart at night, staying at the most central hostel in town.
DAY 1 - PORT ARTHUR day tour. We start the day with a stroll through Tassie's prettiest historic village Richmond, with Australia's oldest bridge, handbuilt by convicts. Enjoy the short drive to the Tasman Peninsula to see the highest Sea-Cliffs in Australia. An area of unique and spectacular rock formations and coastal scenery. The afternoon is spent at Port Arthur Historic Site. Explore the site, feel the isolation of the convicts, discover the grim and violent history. The afternoon includes a guided walking tour and a short harbour cruise.
DAY 2 - MT FIELD, MT WELLINGTON AND WILDLIFE: This is my personal favourite Tassie Tour. Rainforest, Mountains, Waterfalls, Devils & spectacular views. We've got it all covered. Russell Falls is a short easy walk through Tasmaia's unique rainforest. Keep your eyes peeled for Pademelons & Wallabiy. Peer above you at some of the world's tallest hardwood trees,. We take you up into the alpine section of the park for an easy walk around Lake Dobson fringed with ancient Pandani Palms, Plenty of snow up here in winter! Still not finished, we've got the summitt of Mt. Wellington and a personal tour of a wildlife sanctuary - yes they've got devils and much more.
DAY 3 - WINEGLASS BAY AND FREYCINET: Walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout to see one of the wold's Top 10 Beaches. Continue down to the dazzling beach for a swim. Alternavtiely, return from the lookout with our guide to explore the other great places in Freycinet National Park. Cape Tourville Lighthouse, Sleepy Bay, Honeymoon Bay, pat the local wallabies - they are super friendly.

Tour begins and ends in Hobart. You return to our Hobart accommodation each night. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- On each day we participate in a number of short walks. We suggest wearing footwear suitable for some easy walking - NO THONGS/FLIP FLOPS please. Please bring both warm clothes and sun protection, wet weather gear may be necessary.
- You will be collected from your accomodation anywhere in Hobart, so we need to be informed of where you are staying before you depart.
- Numbers on the day: The maximum group size is 12, which is large enough to meet some new friends, overhear fantastic questions and answers and allow some flexibility to enjoy individual interests. We take time for photo's, and our guides will entertain you with some fantastic Tassie knowledge.
- Session length: Port Arthur Mega Day: 8am - 7pm Mt. Field, Mt. Wellington and Wildlife: 8am - 5pm Wineglass Bay and Freycinet: 7.30am - 7pm
- Each tour operates with a minimum of 2 people. Participants must be physically active to enjoy our tours. Children under 13 years and not suited to this tour. We stay at Central City Backpackers in Hobart. Dorm room, twin room, double room and single rooms available. Prices include all entrance fees & national parks passes. No extra charges. Meals are not included. You can bring your lunch along each day or you can buy something along the way.

- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
