BCL - Moreton Island 2 Day Camping Tour
Overview
After arriving on the first morning on the island we drop our gear off at our bush safari camp. Your guide will take you touring the island in our 4WD, seeing both amazing forests and pristine beaches. Each trip's itinerary is different depending on local conditions and tides. You will see, Cape Moreton Light House (a great spot for wildlife viewing), Blue Lagoon (fresh water lake infused with tea tree oils), 40km of uninterrupted surf beach, The Dessert and Big sand hills for sand tobogganing and great views, Five Hills Look out (panoramic views back to Australia and the Glass House Mountains. During these two days your guide will take you on short bush walks, explaining the island flora and fauna, we will also take you on a guided snorkel around fifteen amazing ship wrecks which are teeming with fish life, and of course, sand tobogganing and boarding, just like the ALPS, with board shorts and NO Ski Lift! This activity departs and returns to Brisbane or Surfers Paradise, and takes place on Moreton Island Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- Includes all of the meals, activities and national park fees. An additional $40 for the ferry is payable on the day. If you do not have a sleeping bag you can hire it from us for an additional $10
- Optional $10 pp Sleeping bag hire payable on departure in cash. 1/4/2009 to 31/3/2010 $40 Return Ferry fare must be paid on departure in cash. 1/4/2010 to 31/3/2011 $45 Return Ferry fare must be paid on departure in cash.
- Numbers on the day: Minimum 5 pax and maximum 10pax. Guide ratio 1:10 passengers
- Session length: We pick up from both Transit Centres in Brisbane (approx 7am) and Surfers Paradise (approx 6.00am), and some selected hotels. Return time approximately 6-7pm (Brisbane) 7-8pm (Surfers Paradise).
- Minimum child age is 4 years old. Child price is valid from 4-14 years of age. Minimum numbers for the tour to operate is 5 passengers.

- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
