Overview
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly in a hot air balloon? Then come and enjoy ballooning with us and experience the wonder, romance and silence of a balloon flight over the Atherton Tablelands.
Before lift-off see the spectacle of how a hot air balloon inflates & takes shape, then hop in and take off to gently float over gum trees & gaze out as the Australian landscape stretches out as far as the eye can see.
Get carried away with the fun but don't forget to look out for wildlife and hear the sounds of nature below, have a chat to your friendly pilot and get your photo taken by Australia's only roaming hot air balloon photographer.
As Australia's biggest balloon company, choose a flight in any one of our 8 balloons. Enjoy 360 degree views, whether it's of nature below or balloons all around. It's just like flying in a balloon festival everyday!
The tour includes a 30 minute balloon flight, full hot and cold breakfast buffet, champagne toast, colourful flight certificate and return coach transfers.
Complimentary airport drop offs from Cairns and Cairns Beaches are also available after ballooning on request

Tour departs daily from Cairns, Palm Cove, Cairns Beaches & Port Douglas. We provide a courtesy door to door air conditioned coach transfer from all resorts, hotels & apartments.

Session Time
This is a half day tour, please allow 4.5 hours to experience the tour with ballooning, 30 minutes flight duration, air conditioned coach transfers & breakfast.
Guidelines & Restrictions
We recommend you wear walking shoes and outdoor clothing. General mobility is required (regulations require one must be able to get in and out of basket unassisted). A compulsory aviation insurance levy of $30 per person is payable on board on the day of travel. Those aged 4 years & above may ride.
Please note that there is a compulsory additional Aviation Insurance levy of $30 per person payable direct to the supplier on the day of travel.

Booking Insurance
It is recommended that you consider GoDo Cancellation Cover. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Cancellation Cover provider.
