BCL - Full Day Whale Watch
Overview
Come whale watching and experience the trip of a lifetime as you see the whales eye to eye. With only 24 people, we offer you an intimate tour. Be one of the fortunate few to see the magnificent humpback whales up close and personal from the decks of this modern 35 foot sailing catamaran.
Activity Highlights:
• During the months of August, September and October the Southern Humpback whale makes it's annual stop over in the calm waters of Platypus Bay on the western side of Fraser Island.
• Our catamaran is only 10.7m in length and 5 tonne in weight so compared to an adult Humpback whale at 11m to 13m in length and 35 tonne, we can give you that awe inspiring experience.
• Our tour offers you a full day on the water and your skipper Peter Lynch is the Bay's most experienced marine mammal expert.
• So on your travels along the East Coast make sure you leave your self a day to see the Humpback whales at the best whale watch destination in Australia. Be one of the few - not the many!

Location
- Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast - Queensland)
Depart and return to the Marina in Urangan, Hervey Bay. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- This is suitable for 8 years and up. Please no black soled shoes or boots. Also, please note this is a non-smoking tour.
- Numbers on the day: Maximum of only 24 passengers on any day.
- Session length: This is a full day experience. We depart 7.30am daily in season (late July to late October). Please arrive by 7.15am.

- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
