The Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary is an area of incredible beauty and a wetland of "national significance". It is one of Adelaide's "secret spots!". The sheltered, tree lined creeks of this area are an ideal environment for a family kayaking adventure and home to a fascinating array of marine life, birds and the Port River Dolphins.

Traveling by kayak is a unique way to experience an encounter with the dolphins or view the wrecks in the Ship's Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail.

Our Guided Family Tour is idea for introducing children to the fun and adventure of kayaking as we lead you on a 2 hour exploration of this spectacular area.

Our 2 or 3 seat kayaks are ideal for families and create a safe experience for children. Mum or Dad can skipper the kayak and share the experience with children.

You can safely explore the sheltered mangrove creeks, see the ship wrecks or search for dolphins. The water is clean, clear and shallow so you can see lots of marine life as you paddle along.

We provide guidance, child sized buoyancy vests and paddles. All our guides are accredited and have lots of stories to tell about the area and sights you will see.
