BCL - Cooktown Wanderer + Aboriginal Rock Art Tour
Overview
Day 1:
You will be collected from your accommodation by our travel partner Billy Tea Bush Safaris.Travel north along the scenic route to the majestic Daintree River for a one hour river cruise. We ascend the Alexandra Range and pause for a panoramic view of World Heritage Tropical Rainforest. Experience the rainforest on our elevated National Park Boardwalk. A delicious barbecue lunch is served while you have the opportunity to hand feed a kangaroo. We travel to pristine Emmagen Creek and time for a refreshing rainforest stream swim. Enjoy tropical fruit, a complimentary glass of wine and a cup of traditional Billy Tea. Overnight Cape Tribulation
Day 2
You will be collected from your accommodation at 10.30am by Adventure North Australia.
Your experienced guide will enlighten your journey with stories and history as you continue by 4WD on the Bloomfield Track. This will take you through some of the most incredible scenery in the country as you cross rivers and climb mountain ranges.
Our lunch stop is at the famous Lion's Den Hotel. Continue to the unique geological oddity of Black Mountain, surrounded in mystery and ancient Aboriginal legend, before arriving at Cooktown. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views from Grassy Hill of the Coral Sea, Cooktown and the Endeavour River. Overnight Cooktown
Day 3:This morning you will be collected by Nual-warra Elder Willie Gordon of Guurrbi Tours. Willie takes guests to his ancestral rock art sites. Here he shares the stories behind the art and explains how the paintings speak of the essence of life and lores of his people. The Rainbow Serpent Rock Art Tour takes you through a dramtic landscape to six rock art sites, including the Rainbow Serpent Cave and an ancestral Birth Site.
Return to Cooktown for some free time before departing via the Mulligan Highway as we follow the Great Dividing Range through cattle country and the Outback of Far North Queensland.
Arriving late eveing to your accommodation.

Tour departs from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas. We are able to provide a courtesy pick up service from your accommodation. Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.

- Numbers on the day: These are small personalised tours with a minimumof 4 passengers maximum of 16 passengers. Tour subject to weather conditions (Bloomfield Track) alternative route will be taken via the inland road, Mulligan Highway
- Session length: Multiple Locations, courtesy hotel pickup Depart Day 1 Cairns 7.00am and return Day 3 approx 9.30pm. Depart Port Douglas 9.00am and return Day 3 approx 8.30pm
- Tour subject to weather conditions, alternative route via the inland road will be taken. Includes Lunch Day 1 and Day 2, all other meals at your own expense. $20.00 fuel charge (children exempt) payable on board Day 2 to Adventue North Australia.

If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
